Springboard Pilates Therapy

What is a Pilates Springboard?

The Springboard consists of a board attached to the wall, together with springs from the Pilates Cadillac.

The board is usually 20 inches wide and 6 feet high and is equipped with springs of different lengths and stresses, along with handles, foot belts and a hoop that can be attached to springs. Along the sides, there are 10 pairs of eyebolts, in which the springs are fixed.

How can a Pilates Springboard help me when I need physical therapy?

At the Emerson Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center, you will get to know many different types of therapies and techniques that will help you restore the proper functioning of muscles and improve the overall structure and mechanical potential.

The treatment will consist of various exercises - this is where the Pilates Springboard will help you recover/regain the correct functional supplement that you lost in the movement system. This is possible due to proper and specific exercises and programs, both therapeutic and therapeutic.recover/regain

You will also gain intense body awareness, developing proper mindfulness of joints and muscles, engaging correct proprioception through proper exercise. This, in turn, will challenge and activate the core stability and muscle function and restore precise control of body movements.

Essential unique features of Pilates Springboard vs. Pilates Reformer:

- The springs are higher on the Springboard than on the reformer and are placed behind or in front of the body instead of under it:

The combination of additional work stability independently in each limb and stronger spring tension makes the Springboard much more precise when it comes to individualized exercises and activation and strengthening of the leg.
